Is Therapize a for-profit initiative?
No, Therapize is a non-profit initiative. We don’t charge users to access the information on the platform, nor do we charge therapists to be on the platform. Given that affordability is a common concern when it comes to seeking help, we believe in keeping the platform free to ensure that this is an accessible knowledge repository for anyone who requires it.
Can I book appointments with therapists through Therapize?
Yes. You can access information regarding age, location, hourly fees, work experience, qualifications, and therapy style of all therapists on our platform and accordingly email, call or message them via our platform.
What kind of qualifications do the therapists have?
All therapists have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology/ Applied Psychology/Counselling as a minimum. We have conducted rigorous background research and had one on one conversations with all the therapists featured on our platform.
If a therapist offers niche services such as trauma therapy or queer-affirmative therapy, we ensure that they have the neccessary certification for the same.
Are all the therapists available for online sessions?
Yes, they are.
Does Therapize operate the helplines listed on the platform?
Therapize does not own or operate any of the helplines. We have simply curated a list of helplines for you, that we think are reliable and trustworthy, based on our extensive due diligence process. We cannot be held liable for the efficacy of these helplines.
