"I never thought it would be this easy for me to reach out to a therapist and find a non-judgemental, supportive therapist so quickly.

FAQ's

Support groups

What are Support Groups?

Support groups are community based models of receiving support. A qualified therapist will lead all sessions, and you will also be healing with like minded people who have had similar experiences. We truly believe that community centered models are the future, and we offer different types of support groups based on your unique needs.

Are support groups really effective?

Support groups are highly effective and have proven to make people feel less lonely, isolated or judged. Often, support groups can be a great starting point especially if the idea of opening up to a therapist alone feels intimidating.

What if I don’t feel like sharing?

The support group is a safe space, you can choose whether or not you want to share, how much you want to share, and how and when you share. There is going to be no pressure to do anything that you aren’t comfortable with.

Toolkit

What is the Overthinkers’ Toolkit?

The Overthinkers Toolkit is a therapist approved workbook for navigating and managing anxious thoughts and feelings. Staying consistent when it comes to taking care of our mental well-being can be difficult, and this workbook includes science backed tools and exercises to help ground you everyday.

Is the toolkit really effective?

Our overthinkers tool kit is therapist approved and has science backed tools which will surely help you manage your anxious thoughts and feelings on a daily basis. It is of course not a replacement for therapy.

Can I get a physical copy of it?

Currently, we only have a digital version of the toolkit because we believe digital products are far more accessible and can be used from anywhere and anytime unlike a physical guide! It can also be reused for as many times as you want.

How do I use it?

The Overthinkers’ Toolkit comes with guiding prompts, questions you can answer daily, and other tools that will help you work with intrusive thoughts. You can follow along page by page, or choose to start wherever you resonate the most.

About Therapy Sessions

How can I get in touch with a therapist?

You can click here to find therapists that are available for instant booking and book a session with them via their profile. We have simplified the process and made it super easy for you to book a session with the therapist of your choice and we’ll also be sharing a reminder with you before your session.

How do I know who the right therapist is for me?

You can go through our extensive repository of mental healthcare therapists where we share videos, information, and details around their specialization areas and qualifications. In case you are still lost, we are always here to help--do reach out to us via email.

What platform will my session be conducted on?

All the therapists on our platform predominantly use Zoom or Google meet. The platform they use will be mentioned prominently on their booking link as well as in the confirmation email you received once you book a session.

Are my sessions going to be online or offline?

Tele-therapy has proved to be an extremely effective format to get support, and in order to ensure high quality care we provide only online sessions as of now.

Are there package plans and subscriptions?

Currently we do not have any package plans or subscriptions, but we are working on some exciting packages for the future! For now, you can only book one session at a time.

What if the therapist cancels a session?

We all are subject to last minute emergencies, even therapists! If the therapist has to cancel the session because of their unavoidable circumstances, you will receive a full refund and be informed as soon as possible.

What are modes of payment I can use?

Razorpay allows you to pay via credit card, debit card, UPI, wallets, and net-banking.

What is the session cancellation policy?

While we understand that sometimes things don't go according to plan, we are committed to paying our mental healthcare practitioners fairly. If you cancel the session 24 hours prior or earlier, you will get a full refund of session fees, but if you cancel within 24 hours, we will not be able to provide a refund.

What if I have a last minute emergency?

We understand that unavoidable circumstances can come up at the last minute, in such cases you can email us at support@therapize.com with your session details and your reason for cancellation. In consultation with your therapist, we will determine if you could be eligible for a refund on an exception/case by case basis

What if I forget about my session?

We know how hard it can be to stay committed to therapy, and that's why we send you an email reminder 24 hours in advance to make sure you don't forget
