How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

Since I was in my teens, I was always approached by friends and acquaintances to discuss their challenges. It felt like somewhere people found it comforting to put their trust in me for difficult moments of their lives and I felt a sense of satisfaction as well after being able to give them the needed support. That's when I chanced upon Psychology, read about it and pursued it! My interest for the subject kept growing as it helped build so much insight for me individually too, so taking it forward to other people felt like a natural next step.
