How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

I was always fascinated with understanding myself and others around me, on a deeper level. That, along with my personal struggles led me to pursue psychology as a subject. The deep rooted stigma around mental health, gaps in the system and a dearth of well trained, genuine, and ethical professionals further fueled my desire to contribute, and led me onto the path of becoming a therapist.
