How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?
I nurtured the listening, moving, and social justice parts of my self with essential training - to grow into my therapist self. It was a conscious choice to learn psychotherapy from a dance/movement framework - after both my lived experience of honoring my neurodiversity and caregiving experience to persons with mental health needs. Mental healthcare without the body and systemic awareness is a disservice.
