How did you know you wanted to be a therapist?

I always questioned why some individuals stories were validated and others were ignored. Trauma and mental health struggles of family and community were always hidden. This fascinated me to a point that I wanted to give it attention. I wanted to help people and myself find ways to celebrate our lives with and independent of the difficulties.
