What does a first session with you look like?

Our first session is an introduction, which is the beginning of forming a trusting therapeutic relationship together.
It begins by getting to know the client and their story, understanding the reason they are seeking help and their expectations from therapy.
It also aims at building rapport and seeing if we are a good fit for each other.
At the end of the first session, I will provide the client with a brief understanding of the problem and give certain assignments for further detailed understanding.
I also provide a framework for upcoming sessions.
